Together, we will help learners bloom

Education . Family & Community Involvement

We are excited to connect families with resources and to each other. This includes hosting family-centered events, speakers and providing recommendations for books and other helpful resources. We also encourage family involvement in our school and in the community. We are a Learning Community for all.

We actively seek and connect partners with our Learning Community. Initially this included the business consultants from Vista360, LLC, who serve as mentors and guides to Learners who gain organizational and business skills that will assist them as lifelong learners. We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of individual community partners who provide woodworking, art, music therapy and therapeutic horseback riding and animal care opportunities for our Learners on a weekly basis.

Additional community partners may include theater groups, business leaders, entrepreneurs, local farms, special education college students and others who support our whole-child developmental model and offer unique experiences and opportunities for our learners. We also plan to have our learners engaged in community service initiatives to encourage a culture of giving.

Our learning community cultivates a growth-mindset culture. We believe that all of our strengths (skills, talents and character) and intelligence can be developed further through effort, a nurturing support system and embracing challenges as opportunities to learn and grow our minds. We believe that connecting Bloom360 learners with community partners will enhance the children’s strengths and also benefit the organizations who get involved.

Look at a tree when you lose hope. First it was a seed below the ground and only with patience it was able to touch the sky above. – Roxanna Jones
