Mars Family Foundation Makes Center Stage Magical

We are thrilled to share some exciting news: Bloom360 Learning Community has received a generous grant from the Mars Family Foundation to support the purchase of a portable stage for our Learners’ music and theater performances!

For many, performing on a stage is a given. It’s a space to be seen, heard, and celebrated. For our neurodivergent Learners, this has not always been the case. Until now, performances at Bloom360 have taken place on the floor of our multi-purpose room, limiting visibility and the full theatrical experience. We credit Bloom360 Learner, Avery, who advocated for a stage with our president where she and her peers could perform which resulted in our requesting this funding. Her voice was heard! Thanks to this incredible support and Avery’s advocacy, our Learners have a professional-grade stage, complete with safety railings, a lectern, and all the elements that make a performance truly special.

Music and theater are key elements to our approach at Bloom360. Through weekly music therapy sessions, theater classes, and twice-yearly musical showcases, Learners build confidence, social-emotional skills, collaboration, and communication—all in a supportive, strengths-based environment. The new stage will elevate these experiences, giving each Learner a platform to shine and be celebrated for their unique abilities.

This grant not only provides an authentic performance space, but also reinforces our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful self-expression. It allows us to create memorable, engaging performances for families and the community.

We are deeply grateful to the Mars Family Foundation for believing in the transformative power of the arts and for helping Bloom360 make performance an empowering and joyful experience for all our Learners. We can’t wait for our Spring 2026 showcases, where our students will finally take center stage!
